Dear friends and family,
On our 1 year anniversary of moving to Seoul, we will travel to Mongolia for a 6 day mission trip with King's Cross Church. Our team is partnering with Mongol Kids' Home, a non-profit group that cares for manhole children (underprivileged kids that seek heat from underground city pipes; often coming from low-income, single-parent homes).
We will travel Oct 3-8 to spend time with ~50 kids through lessons, crafts, and games. Our aim is to share the love of Christ through our interactions and find creative ways to share the Gospel.
This is our first mission trip as a couple! We are excited and privileged to witness how God is working in this part of the world. We hope that God will reveal how He wants to use us in longer-term missional support. We need and want your prayer! We ask that you pray for:
• These young, vulnerable "manhole children". That they experience the love of God through our interactions
• Our courage to share the Gospel confidently and without fear
• Our team's unity and safety, especially because we have a few young kids traveling with us as well
We are fundraising to cover our Team's expenses. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the cost of materials/supplies along with a donation to Mongol Kids' Home. Whether you feel compelled to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is greatly appreciated!
